These steel collets fit the Micromot series of handheld machine tools (excluding the Engraving tool GG 12, and Pocket drilling machine COLT 2). The set includes six collets covering 1.0mm to 3.2mm, a black plastic insert to hold them, and a closure nut and holder.

The Micromot steel collets are hardened and have a consistent high flexibility.

These collets should not be compared with inferior, unhardened four-slit collets of brass and aluminum. The triple-slit collet is substantially more difficult to manufacture than any four-slit counterpart, and offers a better load-bearing surface.

The high concentricity offered by these collets is important for small shaft diameters and cutters running at high speeds.
