These drills are made from wear-resistant tungsten carbide, and are suitable for drilling glass, semiprecious stones, porcelain, ceramics, marble and other stones, as well as PCB printed circuit boards.
Tungsten carbide can be used to drill materials with Mohs hardness of up to 6. Drilling a hardness degree greater than 6 calls for the use of diamond tools.
